California-Hawaii Elks Major Project, Inc.
Helping children Walk, Talk, See & Play.
The Purple Pig is the fundraising arm of the California-Hawaii Elks Major Project, Inc. (CHEMPI). This is a California-Hawaii Elks program serving children with disabilities throughout California and Hawaii.
CHEMPI has served children since 1950 and funds professional services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology and pediatric vision screening. Services are provided to qualifying children at no cost to their families.
Those Purple Pig banks represent something powerful: Elks pooling small gifts, Lodge fundraising and larger contributions so children can receive services that help them become more independent.
